Consuming vs Producing

Consuming content can seem productive. Especially if it’s helpful to your life. However most content consumption isn’t of real value. Whether valuable or not, consumption is often a waste of time. Production, on the other hand, can lead to real value. Planting seeds in a garden will spawn actual fruit. Reading about it won’t.

Focus on Timeless

You can still succeed in life without reading the newspaper. In fact, timely information can often be a distraction. To the best of your ability, focus on the timeless. The degree to which most of the population doesn’t do this should indicate its importance.
